THE AUCKLAND TANNF_RS. [Per Pbess Association..] . AUCKLAND, _: Sept; 16. ; ■■: The Conciliation Board gave ite decision to-day in the tanners' vxGspuie. It recommended that the week's work should consist of forty-eight hours ; that wages should be £2 10s per week; overtime to be paid ifor at the rate of time and a quarter ; 'that there should be two classes of workmen, journeymen and apprentices. The recommendations also fixed the piecework schedule. The Board adjourned till Thursday to see if the employers would accept the finding.
