PIGS AND POULTRY SALES.
Ther was a brisk demand in the pig and poultry markets en Saturday. Prices were : — Pigs— Weaners from lis to 15s, stores from 15s to 255; porkers from 25s to 325, sows from 52s to 675. Poultry— Hens 3s to 4s, roosters 3s 6d to ss; ducks 4s 6d to 6s 6d ; geese 5s 6d to 7s ; turkeys, gobblers 17s to 19s 6_, hens 6s to 9s 6d. All at per pair.
