[Per Press Association.] MASTERTON, Sept. 18. The insurances on the property de&troyed by fire, so far as is known, total £3880, and the losses are estimated at £1700 above that amount* besides the contents of Mr DougaJl's safe, amounting to nearly £1000 worth of watches and jewellery, which were badly damaged, but the loss on which has not yet been calculated. The main block was owned by the Perry estate. WELLINGTON, Sept. 18. A two-storey building in Upper Willis Street, used as a factory by the Woodware Company, was burnt this morning.
