ENTERTAINMENTS.
The annual entertainment in aid of the funds of the West Melton Cricket Club was held on Friday evening, and proved a great success. The President of the club, Mr J. Hill, occupied the chair, and the- room, which was tastefully decorated, was crowded to exesss. Items iWere contributed by Mrs Vaughan, Misses Saunders (2), and Walker, and Messrs Whitehead, Bourke and Rout. Mr C. Manning, of Templeton, gave a clever exhibition cf contortionist tricks, which was much appreciated. The entertainment concluded with an amusing farce, entitled "As Mad as a Hatter," the parts being taken by Mrs Graham, Miss J. Legg, Messrs E. Graham, A. H. Roberts, 0. Saunders, D. M'Lennan and J.
