A private cable received here from Sydney states that the barquentine Brczil, which left Clarence River for Napier several weeks ago, with a. hardwood cargo for the railways, is believed to have been lost., brie was to have loaded timber at Napier for Sydney, but Messrs* Henderson and Grenaway requested the charter of .another vessel.
