The second day of the Ashburton County Racing Club's autumn meeting was held in beautiful weather, the attendance being fully equal to that of the first day. The stewards held an inquiry into the running of Wedlock in the Disposal Stakes, and, after taking evidence, decided to disqualify the rider, H. Donovan, for six months.
