THE VOLUNTEERS.

On Friday evening there was a very good muster of the Kaiapoi volunteers, some forty answering the roll-call. The men were paraded in tho open- marching up the North Road, whero Bombardier Coloinan drilled them thoroughly. Lieutenant Papprill was present, together with Colour-Sergeant Blackwell. Captain . Millar.it is iinderstood, has resigned his position.
