CANTERBURY ROWING CLUB

The committee of the Canterbury Rowing Club met on Friday, the Captain, Mr F. I. Cowlishaw, occupying the; chair. The Treasurer, Mr F. E. Wright, reported having paid off £50 of the mortgage, and that there was a credit balance of £20. It was decided to hold a club dance on Friday, May 26, at the boathotise, and Messrs F. E. Wright, J. Fuller, A. S. Styche and F. I. Cowlishaw were appointed a sub-committee to make arrangements. The committee expressed deep regret in having to record the loss, by death, of one of the club's auditors, Mr H. E. Homan.
