COUNTY TOURNAMENT. The county tournament was continued at Hagley Part yesterday, .when Ashley and Selwyn met. The match went to the former on the first innings by 34 runs. The Ashley team has now won both its matches, and the final game, at 10 a.m. to-day, between Selwyn and Akaroa, will decide the second place in the tournament. It is hoped to make the tournament an annual fixture, but when making arrangements in future it has been suggested that the matches should take place earlier in the season.
