Henry Carter, an engine-driver, was .charged (on remand) with having conainitted manslaughter at Bakaia, on March 11, by causing the death of Eose Florence Harwood, Mary Ami Pranks, Fraaiees Evelyn Jones and Richard de Benzi Knight Bowden, Mr Andrews appeased for the accused, and applied for a remand, which was granted until Wednesday nest, bail being allowed in tbs same amount ss formerly.
