THE POLO TOURNAMENT.

[Per Press Association.] PALMERSTON NORTH, March 16. Glorious weather prevails for the opening day of 'the New Zealand polo tournament. Ten teams are competing, including "Rangatikei A and B teams, Orua, Christchurch, Manawatu, Tearai, Wellington, Hawke's Bay (2) and Horowhenua- The drawing for the SavMlle Cup contests resulted in Bankitikei A team playing Orua, and Christchurch meeting Manawatu to-day. To-mor-row Ttangitikei B team will play Tearai. In the Senior Cup and Junior Cup, Wellington will play Horowhenua.
