AN IMPERIAL ARTIST.
The Emperor William, before leaving for the East, turned his attention, to sculpture, and designed a medallion which he has now presented to his aunt, the Grand Duchess of Baden. The medallion is a bas-relief in marble, enclosed in a carved oaken frame, and representing the apotheosis of the Emperor William L, who is wafted on high upon angels' wings to realms of eternal blessedness. The design is executed by the well-known sculptor Hidding.
