AT RANGIORA.
Anniversary Day is usually spent by a large portion of the Rangiora people away from home, and yesterday was no exception to the rule. A good number took train for the city, being attracted by the bicycle sports, whilst others formed picnic parties to the sea-beach and the bush. The Baptist Sunday school children held their annual treat on the agricultural show grounds, where they thoroughly enjojed themselves. The only other local amusement was the annual cricket match between the Chribtchurch Farmers' Cooperative Association's Club and the Rangiora Club.
