Oh cruel death, thon \7a3t severe To snatch so suddenly away Our darling Nellie in her bloom, To mix among the mouldering clay. Her loving smile and winning way "Will cheer our hearts no more ; Bui still we know she's better off: Kbt lost, but gone before. Inserted by her loving parents, C. and M. A. l*rge. .... 7884 PEARCE. — In loving memory of our dear Evelyn, youngest daughter of John Pearce; died "Dec. 16, 1896, aged eighteen years. Short and sudden was her call, She so dearly loved by all ; _ But, oh ! how sweet the promise given, "We shall meet again in Heaven. For many years our family chain Was closely linked together* But, ah! that chain is broken now, One link has gone for ever. Inserted by her loved ones. -
