Some of the exhibitors at the Metropolitan Show have been put to some trouble; :n .getting their exhibits away from the Show Grounds by the railway, and complaints weie frequent that the arrangements might have been considerably improved. The Canterbury Provision and Produce Company had a most unfortunate experience with its exhibit, which was of a perishable nature. As it was raining hard, the manager made oveiy endeavour to get the contents of his stand removed to the works at Belfast, and therefore arranged for a truck to be ready at Addington. The goods were duly removed to the station and placed in the truck which had been allotted to him. Some time afterwards, however, he was informed by telephone that the truck in which the goods had been (placed was a condemned one, and he had to proceed to Addington With men, and in the rain transfer the goods to another truck.
