M'Lean moved the recommittal of the measure in order to further consider tLe cbuises imposing liability on shipmasters. * v , , ' Ihis was negatived, after a short debate, by 17 to 15, and the Bill was put through its final stages. COUrEN'SATION- TOR ACCIDENTS. ? On the suggestion of the Hon G. M'Lean. the Minister of Education agreed to postpone the debate on the second reading oi the Workers Compensation for Accidents Bill till Tuesday, in order that members raisht have time to peruse the Imperial Act. The Council rose at 3.20 p.m. :
