MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.

There was a good attendance at the quarterly meeting of the Cust Oddfellows' Lodge on Tuesday evening, the N.Gr., Bro A. D. Hassall, presiding. A communication was received from the Water-supply Board declining to provide a culvert for race on the lodge section. P.G. Bro H. Tallatt was appointed delegate to the district meeting. A motion was carried that district officers be requested to sanction an additional amount, to be spent on the enlargement of the hall. P.G.M. BroM'Lean and D.P.G.M. Bro Gillispie received a hearty welcome, and congratulated the Lodge on the prompt manner in which business was conducted, and the general indications of prosperity. A very pleasant hour was afterwards spent in harmony.
