THE ESSENCE OF PARLIAMENT.
Yesterday afternoon both Houses of Parliament passed resolutions expressing regret at the death of Sir George Grey and recognising his services to New Zealand and fche Empire. The Legislative Council adjourned till the following day, and the House of Representatives till 7; 30 p.m. In the evening, the Old Age Pensions Bill was committed in the House.
