News has been.received from Tokomaru of. a serious injury inflicted upon' a Native bushfeller named Wtietuki; by another, who. in a. heated quarrel, took . up' ■ a slash-hopk and struck him on, the h^ad, inflicting a wound from which the" brains are said to be protruding.
