S.M.S. Torch is expected to leave port today for the Bluff. She is due back in Wellington on Oct. 1. The steamer Wakatipu, which left port yesterday for Sydney via Wellington, took a large cargo of potatoes for the New South Wales port ' Captain Wilson, who had charge of the British India Steamship Company's Onda when she visited the colony last year, is still in command of the steamer. She is expected to leave Wellington on Saturday for this port, with Eastern cargo. From New Zealand the Onda proceeds to Newcastle to load coal, and will then go on to Melbourne to load horses for India.
