AN OLD MEMBERS' ASSOCIATION.

The New Zealand Times" says that thirteen late members of the E Battery, Christchurch met at the Trocadero on Thursday night, Mr J. C. Martin, ex-captain of the corps, presiding. It was decided that a photographic group, in mufti, should be taken of those present and others accounted for, and after "being suitably framed, presented to the Battery. It was further resolved to form an Old Members' Association, meetings to be held annually, the first gathering berng fixed for Dec. 16, the anniversary of the foundation of Canterbury province. Mr J. Pi per was elected secre tary pro tem.
