THE POLICE COMMISSION.
[Per Press Association.! BLENHEIM, Mat 16. The Police Commission opened its sittings at Blenheim on Saturday. Evidence was taken at length on the question of Constable Jeffries' removal from Picton. The disappearance of Satherly also cropped up, and at times the proceedings were very animated. The Commission resumed today, and will finish either to-night or to-morrow. *"— mmm. —————m mmm — ——%
