Limvood Second v. Albion Second — Albion, who played three men short we™ defeated somewhat easily by nineteen points to nil. For the .winners M'Namara scored two tries and M'Cormick and Pa* e t one try each. Blakealey was successful with a lack at pal f rom a maS, SSSS | Merivale v. Eichmond.^This game re-
suited in an easy win for Merivale by thirty-seven points to nil. Play in the first spell was fairly even, but in the second half was scarcely ever out of the Richmond territory. The winners' score consisted of tliree goals from tries, five tries, a goal from a mark and a penalty goal. The tries were obtained by J. Austin (3), Voyce (2), and Farquhar, Donnftll and M'Cree one each. C. Burrell converted two of the tries and Voyce one, the latter also kicking a penalty goal, aud a goal from a mark. Mr J. Nixon was referee. Kaiapoi Second v. Sydenham Second. — The Sydenham team journeyed to Kaiapoi, and being anything but strongly represented, they made a poor stand against the countrymen, and suffered defeat to the tune of twenty-nine points to nil. Mr W. Irvine was referee.
