The proportion of reserve to liabilities is 42-97. In circulation, .£26,675,000; public deposits, .£19,618,000 ; other deposits, .£35,002,000 ; Government securities, .£14,209,000; other securities, .£36,367,000. Three months' hills are discounted at 2£ per cent.
