TOTAL LOSS EXPEOTED. Beceived March 25, 9.15 a.m. LONDON, Mabch 25.
Jjlojd'e agent at Perim telegraphs that the P. and O. steamer China, homeward bound from Australia, is ashore at Azalea Point.
[Perim is a small island lying in the Straits of Bab el Mandeb, between the Gulf of Aden and the Eed Sea;]

The China is expected to ]become a total loss. The passengers,, numbering 493, were landed safely at Perim, together with their baggage. The vessel's bottom is pierced forward, and Lloyd's agent reports that the vessel is full of water.

§YpNEY, Mabch 26. The China has 498 bales of wool and about .£12,000 worth of specie. The cargo is valued at .£120,000.
