DUNEDIN, March 25,
The Presbyterian Synod concluded its sittings to-day. A committee was appointed to inquire into a dispute in the Wyndham Church. A resolution was adopted, expressive of the deep sense of satisfaction of the Synod at receiving and listening to deputies from the Free Church of Scotland and sister churches. A proposal to celebrate the jubilee by founding an orphanage was practically abandoned in favour of a proposal to raise .£30,000 for church extension work.
