OXFORD

I Messrs H. Matson and Co. held their second weekly sale of stcck at Oxford yesterday, when there was an entry of about 2000 sheep. Forward turnip wethers brought 9s Gd to 10s 6d, hot quite So good 7s to9s; mixed two-tooths of good quality, 7s 6d to 8s 6d ; fat lambs, 8s Gd to 9s 6d ; store lambs from 5s .to 6s for good /sorts and up to 3s 3d for cull lots ; soundmouthed merino ewes, ls 3d to 2s 6d ; four, six and eight-tooth breeding ewes up to 7s : sound-mouthed ewes in backward condition, 2s 6d ; boilers from ls to ls 8d ; and : rams up to 2igs.
