The Dunedin Jockey Club again enjoyed lovely weather for its Jubilee Meeting, and though the attendance to-day was not so large as on the first day, it was really satisfactory, and it included his Excellency the Governor. The sum of £7295, which was passed through the totalisator, compares favourably with the amount of £6079 operated upon on the second- day of the tiutumn meeting last year. Belle Clair Showed ' the way until half the distance had been covered, when she was joined by St Ouida. At the top turn Belle Clair compounded, arid left St Ouida and St Clements in the lead, but once fairly in the straight Vandyke came with a strong run, and easily disposing of the leaders, won by three-parts of a length.
