NEGLIGENT MAIL CARRIER.

At* the Masterton District -Court yesterday, Harry Langley, a mail carrier in the Forty-mile Bush, was found guilty of having delayed a parcel, which he put into the hollow of a tree and forgot to hand to the postmaster. Judge Kettle said there was no excuse for failing to post the parcel when it was put into his hands. The Judge inflicted a fine of .85 and costs, which he considered sufficient penalty owing to the youth of the accused.
