Captain Edwin sent the foUowing weather forecast to Captain Clark, harbour-master, yesterday afternoon:—"Wind between south and east and northeast at all places northward of Napier and New Plymouth, and between north-east and north and west at aU other places. Barometer further rise northward of Napier and New Plymouth ; fall at other places. Sea heavy on western coast after .sixteen hours, and on east coast between Castle Point and Lyttelton. Tides high on western coast of North Island ; good elsewhere. Northerly gales .are to be expeoiod nt all places southward of Napier and Wanguuui after ten to sixteen hours."
