There is a brisk demand for scoured merino wools of all descriptions, also for §reasy merino broken fleece and pieces ; ut in consequence of American buyers not ooerating at present, prices of Victorian fine Western District greasy wools are scarcely on a par with closing rates o£ last series. For the bulk of coarse cross-bred wools, prices are, weaker.
