NATIVE LANDS.
■ [Per Pkess Association.] AUCKLAND,^Mabch 23. One thousand Natives are now assembled at the Wahi settlement, near Huntly, to consider Mr Henare Kaihu's proposals in regard to Native lands. The principal tribes in the North Island, from the Bay of Islands to Wanganui and Otaki, are present. The proceedings were opened today with religious services by the Wesleyan Native minister. This is a new departure by the Kingites. The Hon James Carroll leaves Auckland to-morrow to attend the meeting.
