In order to push on the additions to the Parliament Buildings, a number of arc lights are to be erected and work carried , on day and night in three shifts. Sir Eobert Stout and Mr Firth, headmaster of the Wellington College, have been nominated for two of the seats on I the Victoria College Council at the disposal of the graduates. The missing man Withers was found in a swamp, and will be examined as to his j sanity. G-. Harmston, the flip-flap rider in ] Fitzgerald's, circus, met with a painful j accident at Greytown. The horse fell , while the rider was turning a somersault, j and rolling on Harmston crushed his ankle severely. ]
