i A match was played at Lancaster Park yesterday between a team from H.M.S. Tauranga and an eleven selected from the various Christchurch clubs. The visitors were rather, overmatched, and were disposed of in their first innings for 73, while in their second they lost six wickets for 74. The local representatives closed their innings when seven wickets were down for 119, and therefore won on the first innings by 46 runs.
