SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
The monthly meeting of the Richmond School Committee was held on Tuesday evening; present— Messrs Snowball (chairman), Eldndge, Flesher, Ford, Hughes, Shaw and Sorensen. Apologies were received for the absence of Messrs Clarke and Paull. The master's report for the past month showed the number of scholars to be 570, with an average [attendance of 508. Messrs Snowball, I Paull and Flesher were appointed to prepare the annual report for presentation i at the meeting of householders.
