AQUATIC.
The following crew will represent Canterbury in the Eight-oared Race to be rowed at the Championship Regatta, Dunedin, on Mar:h2s:— G. Coop (Wairewa 8.C.), bow; A. Nicholls (U.R.C.), 2; C. E. Ebort (A.R.C.), 3 ; C. Chapman (Wairewa 8.C.), 4 ; F. Wheeler (A.R.C.), 5 ; R. P. Crosbie (V.M.C.A.), G ; J. Y. Daly (C.R.C.), 7; F.I. Cowlishaw (C.R.C.), stroke. At a meeting of the committee of the Lyttelton Rowing Club on Monday night it was decided to enter the following crew for the Maiden Four and Otago Plate, to be decided at the Championship Regatta at Dunedin on March 25:— C. G. Curtis, stroke, W. G. Smith, T. Wyinan and K. I. Taylor, bow. The committee have for some time been in communication with the Regatta Committee with the object of having the races decided over a straight course, and the entry has been forwarded conditionally either on a straight course being provided, or, .failing that, that the visiting crews shall be allowed to turn as they are accustomed to turn at Canterbury -regattas.
