ADDINGTON YARDS.

THIS DAY. [Per " Star's " Pigeon Express.] There were large yardings in all departments at Addington to-day, and the attendance was a representative one; business throughout was fairly brisk. Fat cattle were well represented, and met a slightly improved sale, a show bullock bringing .£l2 and a heifer ,£lO 10h, others fringing well up to late '.rates. (There was a, good yarding of store cattle* including some good lines of young sorts. There was but little demand, and late rates were maintained with difficulty. A fair entry of dairy cows had not been reached when our express left. The large entry of store sheep occupied a considerable tiaie, and drove matters rather late in other departments. Although no improvement can be recorded in prices, the bulk changed hands at fully up to late rates, there being a fair demand for forward wethers and young breeding ewes.
