[Pbr Prkss Association.] WELLINGTON, March 8. At the summer meeting of the Wellington Racing' Club, Mr James Macafa, the owner of the horse which ran second to Zanella in the President's Handicap, entered a protest on the ground of improper acceptance of the first horse. The stewards admit the error, and have decided to pay Mr Macara the value of the stakes, £127 10s. Mr Rathbone, the owner of Zanella, was also paid the value of the stakes.
