THE WELLINGTON CAMPAIGN. (Peb Pbksb Association.! WELLINGTON, Mabch 7. The election campaign is being carried on in a very animated manner. Each candidate, besides speaking on the wharf at midday, addresses, several meetings • in .. different parts of the town at night, and to enable them to do this they have called in the assistance of friends. On Mr Kirk's side the Premier and Dther Ministers, with Messrs Fisher, Stevens, Bigg and Hogg, are taking part, and Mr Duthie is seconded by Messrs Scobie Mackenzie, Hislop, Dr Newman, Hutchison, Menteath and others. Both sides are equally sanguine.
