ORANGEISM.

The monthly meeting of No. 3 Victoria Ladies' Loyal Orange Lodge was held or Thursday evening, in the Engineers' Bane hall, Sydenham. . The lady President, Sister Gourley, occupied the chair, anc was supported by the lady President oi No. 1, Sister Regan, and the lady Presideni of No: 7,. Sister Cooper. Sistor Tayloi occupied the vice-chair, and all othei officers were in their respective places. There ,wj*,s. a veryiarge attendance x>i members. Several ..candidates, were initiated into the Order and roceived a very hearty welcome. The Orange lecture was given by the lady • President, Sister Gourley, and Sister Taylor. Four candidates were proposed as members. . It was., decided tc send letters of conqlplenpe to various emembers of the, Order. The. lady President gave in the report of. the executive meeting, and also' of the Grand Lodge meeting, which \ was "considered very satisfactory. The money raised by the concert and dance held recently was. handed over, there being a good balance. A vote of thanks was passed to visiting sisters, and was suitably responded to. After all the business had been transacted the married sisters informed the single sisters that they would entertain thero at the next Lodge meeting. The Lodge was thon closed in due form, and the programme was brought to an end with the singing of "God Save the Queen." ' '
