[Per Prkrm Association.! WELLINGTON, Dec. 28. Captain Halliday, who lias been harbour master for many years, died this morning. He had been ailing some time, and influenza attacked him at the finish. OAMA.RU, Dec. 28. Captain Sewell, for thirty-six years' harbour master and pilot here, died this morning 1 , aged seventy-five. He retired last year on account of his age. The Hon the Premier Jeft Wellington last evening for the West Coast, where he will remain for n, week or so, nnd will then return to Wellington by way of I Canterbury.
