CHRISTCHURCH.
Wednesday, Dec. 15. (Before Mr E. Green, J.P., and Mr J. Gapes, J.P.) Drunkenness. — Frank Bourn was charged with committing the above offence and with assaulting a constable and damaging his shako. Accused denied the charge. He was fined os for the drunkennass, 20s for the assault, and 12s 6d for the damage to the shako. ..'Alleged Theft. — James Wright, charged with stealing the sum of _6 from the person of Richard. Hawker, in the Al Hotel, on Dec. 8, was committed for t_ al. Breach of By-Laws. —James Arnold was charged with driving a cab without a license. He was fined 7s and costs,
