IN BANKRUPTCY.
RE L. E. A. GRIFFITHS. Mr Stringer, for the Official Assignee, appeared in support of an application for the delivery of horses and a drag in possession of the bankrupt's wife. He stated that the bankrupt's wife had discovered that she had no claim to the property and had signed a consent to the order. His Honor made the order as prayed.
[Per Press Association^ WELLINGTON, Dec. 10. A case is being heard in the Supreme Court before Judge Edwards and a jury of twel ve,. in which W. C. Fitzgerald, a wellknown chemist, is sued by Thomas Ryan, hulk-keeper, for -SoOl damages for alleged unskilful treatment. The defence is a general denial of the plaintiff's statement of claim.
