The closing session was held this morniiio- when affairs more immediately concerning the Ministerial work were conS1 The Revs C. Porter and H. E. Bellhouse were recommended to Conference for ordination subject to further examinations m-oving satisfactory. After further routine business tho Eev D J. Murray read extracts from the " Liverpool minutes." A conversation followed on the work of God in the'district, when the Revs Morley, Carr, Taylor, Mather and others spoke of various features of the w.ork in their districts. Votes of thanks were passed to the friends who had entertained the delegates, and to the secretary and reporters, after whioh the journal was readj and the Synod I was closed with devotional exeroises.
