Military Tournament.— Trophies have been presented to the committee of the military tournament to be held ou Anniversary night by Messrs Stead, Mason, Struthers and Co., E. Eeece and Son 'and S. Manning- and Co. These will be distributed among the various events, and, in addition, a number of valuable prizes are being provided by the committee. A novelty has been added to the programme in the 'shape of a pontoon barrel race, •which enjoys great popularity in England, where it has proved one of the principal attractions at military sports.
