The attendance at the Geraldine market on Wednesday was good, and business was brisker than usual. There was an entry of about 5000 sheep, and the following prices were obtained : — Fat four-tooth wethers 12s Sd to 13s Gd, store wethers (two-tooth) 9s to 9s 9d, four and six i tooth ewes in lamb 10s to lls Gd, cross-bred ewes in lambus 6d to 7s 6d, hoggets 7s to 9s 3d, fat ewes 8s 6d to 12s. The cattle sale was a poor one, not many changing ' hands. There was r- good entry of pigs, and they sold fairly well. at the following prices: — Small stores 6s to 9s «'!d, large stores Us fld to 15s, 2>orkers 255.
