The Queen left AVindsor Palace to-day for Buckingham Palace, travelling by the Great Western milway to the Paddington Station, and arriving at noon. An immense crowd cathered at the station and greeted her Majesty with cheering. An address was presented to her Majesty by the local residents.

The entire route of to-morrow's procession Las been crowded daily, while Fleet Street has been blocked with sightseers watching the preparations. A grand military tattoo was held at Windsor on Saturday night, and, in spite of drenching rain, was a great scene. In the Stock Exchange to-day the members sang the National Anthem, and telegraphed their congratulations to the Queen. Vast preparations for the celebrationp have been made throughout the provinces. They include bonfires on commanding heights in all parts of the kingdom, while feeding the poor will be the greatest function in the larger cities.

Eeports from the Cape state that President Kruger will to-morrow release Messrs Sampson and Davies, the two members of the Johannesburg Eeforin Committee remaining in prison in consequence of their refusal to promise to abstain from interference in politics in the Transvaal.

Colonel Hood, of the Victorian Mounted Eifles, will ride with the staff of Lord Roberts in the Eoyai procession. The other colonial officers will ride at the head of the colonial procession.
