The Winter Show.— Entries for the Winter Show of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association, which will open on May 26, close on May 15. Lyttelton Wesleyan S'jxday School. ■ — The annual tea meeting connected with this school was held on Thursday evening. There was only a medium attendance. Tables were given by Mes'lames .T. E. Webb, Joyce, Kenner, .Eaduiii'i'e, 11. N. Heskens, North and Cook, Arnold and Murray, Stewart, Brown and Pitciuthly, Smith and the spinsters. After the tables had been cleared the service of song, "Watermill Hollow," was given by the children and friends. The choir was under the leadership of Mr A. Holsb, while jSI iss Kenner presided at the organ. Tho connective readings were given by Miss Olliver and were much enjoyed. Good Templary. — The itsual bi-weekly meeting of the Desire of Sydcnham Lodge ■was held on Thursday evening, Bro Hill, C.T., being in the chair. Several delegates from the Grand Lodge were present, and gave a short acccuDt of the sitting, and also of the general working of the Order. The quarterly election of officers resulted as follows :— C.T., Bro Thomson; V.T., Sister Hay; S.J.T., .Sister Fellingham; Secretary, Bro A. H. Fellingham; F.S., Sister E. Forsey; T., Sister Forrest ; M., Bro Henderson. Owing to the late hour the rest of the elections were unavoidably postponed till next session. Greetings from the various Lodges were received and heartily reciprocated. A vote of sympathy with tho sufferers by the late floods •was passed, and the Lodge closed.
