COUNTY PLATE HANDICAP, of 2Ssovs; six furlongs— Glenore 1, Izal 2, Gladys U. 3. Won by a head. Dividend— £3 Ib. SOUTH CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLUB HANDICAP, of 00 soys; one mile— Vandyke 1, Pitch and Toss 2, Salvo Shot 3. Won by a length. Dividend— £4 3s. NOVEL BACE, of 25 soys; six furJongs— Toxa 1, Eosehill 2, Stockfish 3. Won by half a length. Dividend— £3 l9s.
