1 ' o FPer Press Association.! NAPIER, April 29. ) Daniel Watts alias Jeremiah Driscoll has been committed for trial on the charge of burglary. NEW PLYMOUTH, April 29.. At the Police Court this morning, William Malcohnspn, and Edgar Dell, were committed for trial at the District Court on June 16, the former for the alleged conversion of money of Messrs Wood Bros., Christchurch, and Dell on the charge of obtaining money by false pretences. Bail was allowed in both cases. Mr J. T. Upjohn, aged eighty-nine, a very old settler of Taranaki, and formerly a member of the Provincial Council, is' dead.
